Everything on Moneta is general educational information about how money works. It is not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice or legal advice, and it cannot be, because advice requires knowing your income, obligations, jurisdiction, risk tolerance and goals.
What that means in practice
- No article recommends a specific product, lender, bank, fund or platform.
- Calculator results are illustrations based on the numbers you enter, not offers or quotes.
- Tax and social contribution rates differ by country and change over time; the income calculator takes a percentage you supply rather than assuming one.
- Investment returns used in examples are illustrative. Past returns do not predict future ones, and the value of investments can fall.
Before you act on anything here
For decisions with real consequences — a mortgage, a refinance, a pension, a large investment, anything with tax implications — speak to a licensed professional in your own jurisdiction who can see your full picture.
How content is produced
Guides are written and edited in-house, checked against the formulas used in the calculators, and dated when updated. Where a claim depends on a figure, the figure is shown so you can test it. If something is wrong, we correct it and note the change rather than editing silently.

The site carries display advertising. Advertisers do not review, commission or influence editorial content, and no article is written in exchange for payment.
